Q. Can the Silent Gliss Autoglide track be bent?
A. Yes! The Autoglide track can be bent to a minimum radius of 250mm with a
maximum of two bends per track at an additional cost of £135. Just tick the box
for bending on the order page and we'll get in touch to go through the measurements
with you once the order is placed.
Q. Are curtains supplied with the track?
A. No, these are just the curtain track systems, allowing you hang your
own choice of curtain.
Q. Is the "Length of Track" requested on your questionnaire inclusive of the
motor?
A. Yes, the track is the same size with or without the
motor as it hangs down from
the end, so please enter the full length, from one end to the other that you require.
Q. Do you supply curtain hooks? If not, which Silent Gliss curtain hooks are
recommended?
A.Curtain hooks are not supplied with the track.
Standard curtain hooks work perfectly well with the track and there is no specific
hook recommended.
Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. On average, just 5 - 7 working days (approx. 10 days for bent tracks) for your track to be made to your custom
measurements and shipped out to you.
Q. What happens if the product is found to be scratched or damaged when it is unwrapped?
A.When initially signing for the items, if the boxes look damaged,
please sign for them damaged or send them back. If the packaging looks fine
and when you open up the product is damaged then please contact us on 01543 279996
and we will organise the product being picked up and a replacement being sent.
The Product comes with a 5 year warranty.
Q. How much does delivery cost for the Autoglide tracks?
A. Delivery to addresses in the UK Mainland are completely free! The price you see
on this website is the price you pay. If you are interested in ordering Autoglide
tracks from us from outside of the UK Mainland, please give us a call on 01543 279996.
Q. Can you supply spare parts for Electric Curtain
tracks?
A. Unfortunately not. Because of the 5 year warranty on the Silent Gliss products,
the majority of people who get in touch asking for spare parts often have the older
style Silent Gliss tracks, or the even older Swish tracks which we are unable to
get parts for any more. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Q Can it be supplied with 6 wall fixing brackets - to make use of existing
holes?
A. Brackets are supplied 100mm in from each end, then another bracket
every 300mm – 500mm intervals. Extra brackets can be supplied if required.
Q. Which couriers will you use to deliver my order?
A. We use NeightFreight for their reliability and speed.
Q. Do you offer any other colours than white?
A. Not at present, no. If Silent Gliss start manufacturing different coloured tracks
we will sell them, but they currently have no plans to do this.
Q. What weight curtains can these tracks support?
A. Up to 15kg if straight, up to 10kg if bent. 10-15kg includes most light to medium
weight domestic curtains.
